Thursday, 22 July 2010 11:39

You can imagine the reaction in the office when news came in that 9 Norwegian models would be coming on tour with us next week... We were delighted to give a city tour to the lovely ladies and wish them all the best.  Watch this space... !

See it to believe it!

Is it a bus?! Is it a boat?!  No!! It's a Dukw!

The vikings we have working at our office here in Dublin regularly get phone calls from folk who just can't quite believe that this tank of a machine actually goes in the water.  But here is the truth - IT REALLY DOES GO IN THE WATER!  And it comes out again too.
Don't believe us?  Well then check out our video library to see the Viking Splash Dukws in action.

Summer is here!

Saturday, 03 July 2010 14:25

It has been a busy start to the Summer here at Viking Splash Tours.  We're sorry to see the end of our school trips and want to send out a big Viking Roar to all the primary schools and secondary schools who came on tour with us this year.  We hope you all had as much fun raiding the streets of Dublin with us as we did with you.

This week we featured with BeatGeneration where Vinny the Voracious gives a brief, noisy sample of what a Viking Splash Tour is like.  Check out their Facebook page for more photos of the fun and games Cliona had on board!

Within these hallowed pages you will come to know the characters and creative minds that make Viking Splash Tours - one of Dublin’s best loved city attractions.

Day in and day out, come rain or shine, Viking Splash Tours take to the streets of Dublin – passing all of the top sites in the city centre like St Patrick’s Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Castle, the statue of Molly Malone and the impressive western entrance to Trinity College. Leinster House and Government buildings give way to beautiful Georgian streetscapes and finally, the pinnacle and the moment everyone has been waiting for – Splashdown! - into the Grand Canal Harbour to see the recording studios of U2, the new Grand Canal Theatre and the multi-million development works around the South Docks.

Feel free to send us an email letting us know how you enjoyed your tour with us – or check us out on Facebook!

Until the next time…
